Hello! I've been sponsored products from two brands, Viccal and Hanamei (courtesy of thesamplestore) for about a month or so. All products are really interesting and I'm going to give my honest opinions on them sooo... let me start on Viccal first.
VICCAL
According to Viccal's website (which is really cool by the way, go check it out), they are "dissatisfied with the levels of natural actives in commercially available products", so they created their own fomulae using all natural actives. That also means no funny chemicals or alcohol on my skin, which is an extra plus.
And I noticed that the products are Made in Singapore! EXTRA PLUS POINTS （‐＾▽＾‐）
They really are honest, haha.
Which led me into thinking, how many women are being duped into buying products that guarantee instant results? We often get sucked into buying collagen creams, hoping that it will give us a face lift in a month because of the gorgeous young models/ambassadors, or their intriguing taglines in their marketing campaign mediums.
Well, you're wrong.
I read from an article years ago that such products don't iron out wrinkles; collagen-infused products merely help to replenish whatever collagen we've lost and probably help to brighten up the skin if you hadn't lost much of your natural skin qualities.
We should be practising proper skincare routines the moment we're 18 so that we won't need fillers at 30.

Okay back to Viccal.
They have 3 different serums (details on their website) and they sent me this according to the survey I filled out.
I wouldn't believe that it's locally-produced if not for the indication on the box!
It exudes such a luxurious, organic feel and the thin liquid smells like natural rosewater p(^-^)q, not the bandung kind hahaha.
Just a small amount of 3-4 drops is sufficient for my face and neck.
As you can see from the above photo, it slides off so fast that it took me 4 attempts, yet couldn't capture it perfectly (-。－；)
Funny thing is, tiny bumps started appearing on my face after using it twice a day for a week. (°д°；)

I've only been using it nightly ever since and my skin has seemingly appeared brighter and very very soft when I wake up in the morning. Plus, I sleep with the aircon on every night.

Okay I hope I imparted some "knowledge" on skincare today. I really don't regard this as just a product review because I truly enjoy the benefits of using skin care with natural active ingredients, especially when the lifestyles of young people like us are so unhealthy!
