What do we really know about trust?
Do you give someone every single bit of trust just because of the union you share?
Should that be regarded as a symbol of love or friendship?

Humans, undoubtedly, are intelligent. Yes, but this thought pops into my mind every now and then,
'Physique, ability to imagine and conducive mannerisms aside, we are but animals with a multi-faceted brain.'

Hunger for competition, the need to dominate and more contrastingly, the eagerness to nurse and care for... those are the traits not just of mammals but possibly every single known living creature on earth.
Other than that, so many incidents in life have revealed the ugly sides of us; cultivated by that multi-faceted brain of ours.
We are consumed by obsession, taken in by temptation and empowered by manipulation.
We also keep a little something called "deceit" in our back pockets. It's pretty handy when the time calls for it. We use it to soften the impact of our ugliness, veer attention away from whatever negative judgment that may have manifested against you and lastly, everybody's favourite word - "Defence".
Humans know every single bit of that ourselves, yet we whine when faced with ugly behaviours. Maybe your best friend told on you, your boyfriend betrayed you or your superior at work took full credit for your impressive sales pitch.
Is emotional injustice only applicable to respective situations when we didn't make the first offensive move, or should we consider as well of all the times we lied, hid, slandered and threatened?

I know of many who don't place "hiding" and "lying" in the same sentence because, technically, you're not even revealing anything in the first place. Boy, that's screwed up. This just means how much disregard you have for others and don't be coy about your self-centeredness, because it's pumping in your every vein.
What I hate most is to be thrown completely off-track. The deformation of human nature isn't something I can alter when it hits me. It distorts my perception of you, re-appears at every lingering chance it has just to remind me of such a realization, creates space for doubt to fill in and destroys any beauty that I see in you.
Ironically , humans cannot survive solitude.
