BLUEBERRIES AREN'T BLUE

[Edited with recipe!]

I've made so many variations of blueberry muffins over the years
I've folded fresh blueberries in, used frozen ones, mixed them with flour before adding into the batter...
But I think I like this one the most.
It has a gorgeous made-from-scratch blueberry compote in the middle, which brings out the best notes in the fresh blueberries. The very much appreciated, slight tartness burst straight into every crevice of my mouth and triggered my heart aflutter with warmth as it found its rightful position... in my stomach. (*^ー^)

So here's the recipe for Bluberry Muffins, from Home Bake by Eric Lanlard. Font size 12, A4-sized image so you can just send it for printing directly (after clicking on the image, that is).
It's a fantastic book, by the way. He's a Master Pâtissier with an insane portfolio of A-list celebrity clients (Madonna, Sir Elton John, George Michael)! Since I can't go to his cake lounge, Cake Boy in South West London, I'm glad he published this book.

And here's a random photo to remind myself that I really need to get my bangs trimmed. (-。-;)
Oh yes, for those who asked what pink lippie I use, I was wearing YSL Rouge Volupte Lipstick in #1 Nude Beige in the above and MAC's "Partial to Pink" Cremesheen Glass to enhance the pinkness, then blotted with a tissue for a matte look.

Bought a matte pink creme lipstick from Watsons yesterday from the wall of japanese cosmetics. Can't wait to try it! It feels very luxe and rich, kinda like the YSL Rouge Volupte.

&... I'm gonna change my blog URL. For real.
