1 Year Old & Counting

Before my assessment; I assumed this was my last meal. :(

Some 小笼包 place at Bugis Junction.
Mmm... Hot & Sour Soup.
Golden Fried Rice
Crab Roe Spring Roll thing, SHIOK!

We had like 20 小笼包s of Sharks' fin and Crab Roe... hello Cholesterol level and hypertension!!

Our First Anniversary together! Heh heh heh. He managed to pull off his surprises again! :D

Hubs brought me to this fantastic *secret* place for lunch. I love it so much!!! The food is delectable, service is immaculate and the ambience is simply perfect.
Reaching for...
the bread. IT'S SOOOO BLOODY GOOD. Thank God the waitress asked us if we wanted more hahaha. I should ask them if they sell the bread for takeaways.
Dip it in Olive Oil.
My Starter- Cream of Asparagus
Hubs' Smoked Salmon with Greens.
Red Wine and plant on table
Love the Bamboo-inspired cutlery!
My Main Course: Ribeye steak with Balsamic something something(I forgot). Not vinegar!
Mmm... close-up. One thing about this place is that it doesn't cook by stove, but by something else. Not charcoal neither! That's why the food tastes extra special.
If you already guessed where it is, don't reveal the place! HAHA.
Hubs had a Ribeye with Smoked Blue Cheese sauce. We had to let the sauce set in for a lil while before it tasted really good.
Aftermath of Assessment. Check out my steamed face. HAHAHA!
Warm tea to soothe the tummy.
The dessert was a superb ending to the meal. The weather was warm too, how apt.
Lychee mint shaved ice with framboise jelly.

So we took our first tram(?) rides to Sentosa
yet another surprise- a night's stay at Siloso Beach Resort.
Hubs is blending well with the surroundings hahaha!
Corridor.
So green!
Our room

My reaction was "Ahhh!"

Aaaaww! :D
Private hot tub upstairs!
Going downstairs again

Haha rose petals everywhere! They must have had a hard time cleaning up the room.

So I changed and we headed down to...
The Underwater World! :D
Haha worms.
I love the undersides of stingrays! So cute. And we touched the Stingrays too! They're sooo soft!
I love the Touch Pool! Encouraged Hubs to pick up a Starfish HAHA.
Yay he did it!

It's damn scary cos it's super nua, as if it's gonna split anytime.
Spot the fish
Hahaha!
Seahorses.
Moray Eel.
Check out the crowd!
These prehistoric fishes gave us the creeps. Hubs got goosebumps. They're too huge!!!
Comparison!!!

Eel.
HAHA this shark reminds me of this comic character, Sherman from Sherman's Lagoon.
Shark feeding.
Crab
Underside of crab
Crab on a rock

Amazing how beautiful fishes can look.

My fave! Jellyfish! Both alive and dead on my plate, hur hur hur.

You can barely see them, so pretty.
I love the Sawfish too!
Hahaha it's spastic in a cute way
It's a girl!
Giant Grouper
I think I was saying something.
Staring competition.
Random fish. This is a bad shot but check out the eye. Looks fake haha.
Okay bad shot again! But we were chasing after the stupid Leopard Stingray.
and the Giraffe stingray. HAHA!
I can totally a dumb blonde saying, "Wait, so are we at the Aquarium or Africa?"
End of journey!

Cafe Del Mar for dinner and drinks :D
Our first time there, how noob right.
I had the roast Spring Chicken half with Risotto. It was surprisingly good!
Wah this one was damn shiok.
And the lemon wedge squeezing gadget sucks HAHAHA it's so redundant.

So... we had a complimentary coke from Hubs' friend who's the Manager or something (I forgot) over there because the Japanese waitress heard our order wrongly. I wanted a FORK, not a COKE hahaha but she's cute so it's okay.

And we had my fave Lemon Drops cos I love sucking the lemon wedge, and 2 cocktails recommended by his friend. Saw Diana there too! :D She looked so happy there it's totally different from when she's in school! Like so radiant and stuff.

Retreated back to our room which was just behind
I know this shot looks BADDDDD but I cannot help it HAHAHA there was bad lighting.
Sleepy time.

Morning after- we couldn't wake up on time as usual HAHA!
Waiting for the tram thing.
Vivo for lunchmunch. Thai Accent cos I was craving for Thai. Must be Shalyn's fault!
Hubs' Pineapple Rice... why is there raisins?!?! I hate raisins in my food.
Stir-fried Beef with Basil Leaves.
Platter
Green Curry
My Tom Yam Beehoon. Should have asked for glass noodles...
Wah this was shiok! Super good. Juicy mango with glutinous rice.

So I cooked on Wednesday night at Hubs'.
Seafood Gyoza
with my special dipping sauce
Carbonara pasta(not pictured) and roasted chicken thighs.

Okay sorry I can't reply tags today cos my fingers are rotting and I wanna catch up on my Japanese drama serials. Sheauwei recommended me Nodame Cantabile months ago and I finished it within 2 days it's SUGOI!!! Now I cannot find any other show that's better, no thanks to Nodame Cantabile. Please watch it!Got Hubs hooked onto it too HAHAHA!
Okay have fun everybutty much love!
